FATAL COLLISION IN ADAIR COUNTY LAST NIGHT PDF Print

Tpr. Kenny Brown is investigating a collision that occurred yesterday at 6:50 PM, 7 miles east of Columbia on KY 206.  49-year-old Stacy Carter, of Columbia, was traveling west on KY 206, operating a 2003 Nissan. Carter lost control of her vehicle, left the eastbound side of the roadway, struck a utility pole and traveled through a fence before stopping.  Carter was not belted at the time of the collision and was pronounced dead at the Westlake Regional Hospital by the Adair County Coroner.  The investigation is on-going and alcohol is believed to have been a factor.
