The Glasgow Police Department responded to a wreck with possible injuries on Parkview Drive in reference to a vehicle that had driven through the chain link fence onto the baseball field in front of Red Cross Elementary. Upon arrival, police observed a silver Chevrolet Malibu resting in the middle of the field.

The driver, identified as 20-year-old Andrew Froedge of Bowling Green was slouched over, seated in the drivers seat. The odor of marijuana was observed along with signs of impairment. Barren/Metcalfe EMS responded; however, treatment was not needed and Froedge did not wish to be taken to the hospital by EMS personnel. Froedge was taken to T.J. Samson after being placed under arrest, to complete blood and urine testing.

As a result of the investigation, it was determined that Froedge left the roadway of Cleveland Avenue and drove underneath the chain link fence on Parkview Drive, coming to final rest facing south-east in the baseball field.
