Early this morning at 1:30, Glasgow Police attempted to serve a warrant on 36-year-old Stewart Phillips who resides on Grandview Avenue. The homeowner allowed a search of the residence and Phillips was found hiding in a closet believing that he had warrants as well. Police allowed Phillips to get a cigarette from the room that he was sleeping in and he flipped over a metal tray that made it fall behind a plastic cabinet in that room. The metal tray had a metal toothpick holder that contained four marijuana cigarettes and a roach. A package of JOB rolling papers and a bong was also found. Phillips also had two Lortab 10’s in a plastic baggie that was found in a dresser drawer with Phillips money. Philips was cited and evidence was seized. Phillips charges include: Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Prescription Controlled Substance Not in Original Container.
