At last night’s Glasgow City Council meeting, the first reading of an ordinance to create the job position of “City Engineer” was on the published agenda, but wound up being removed from consideration. Mayor Rhonda Trautman describes the sequence of events.

Another item on the agenda was dealt with concerning the future of Glasgow.  After a resolution was passed last night, the City of Glasgow will partner with Farmers RECC to develop methane gas that is created as a result of operations at the Glasgow Landfill.  Mayor Trautman explains.
