The names of those involved in a truck vs. bicycle collision today in Glasgow have been released by police.  A bicyclist and a passenger in a motor vehicle were injured in the accident which occurred at 11:42 this morning at the vicinity of The Vance Store on the bypass. A bicycle being ridden by 41 year old Robert Fleming of Withers Street was attempting to cross the bypass.  Fleming told police that he looked both ways and did not see any oncoming traffic.   But a truck driven by Zane R Wilkins of Renfro Road was headed South on the bypass.  Wilkins stated that Fleming did not check traffic and rode  the  bike into his path.  A witness at the scene confirmed Wilkin’s account  of the accident.  Robert Fleming was taken to T.J. Samson Hospital for treatment, as was a passenger in the truck, 20 year old Christopher Koch of Knob Lick.  The driver of the truck Zane Wilkins was cited for having no insurance.
