Sam Walker, 92, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 14th, at his residence. Sam was born in Tompkinsville, KY on October 17, 1920, a son of the late Vina (Brown) and Tom Walker. On May 15, 1938 he married Edna Irene (Jones) Walker, who precedes him death. He worked as a farmer and was of Church of Christ faith.

Sam is  survived by two sons; Alan Walker, of Tompkinsville, KY; and Lonnie  Walker, of Greenwood, IN; a sister, Lola Brown, of Tompkinsville, KY; his companion of 14 years, Karen Campbell, also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife; Edna Irene Jones Walker, his parents; Tom and Vina Walker, his children; Dewey "Shorty" Walker and Dorthy Johns, his brothers; Clurie Walker, Elmer Walker and Truman Walker and a sister; Annie Cleary.

Funeral services will be held at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 12 Noon on Friday, May 17th, with Lewis Blythe officiating. Visitation is Thursday after 4:00 P.M. and Friday 6:00 A.M.- 12 Noon.  at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hickory Ridge Cemetery.
