CUT DOWN USAGE OF ELECTRICITY THIS SUMMER PDF Print
Saturday, 18 May 2013 06:20

The Glasgow Electric Plant Board is urging patrons to cut down on electricity usage in the summer. During the summer month, the TVA raises prices on energy usage. A way to combat the raised prices is by using the least amount of energy between the peak hours of noon and 8pm. Ways a person can help the EPB is by turning a household thermostat up to 80 degrees or avoid using large electrical appliances. The EPB will monitor the electricity output and share the results on EPB channels throughout the summer.
