Warren County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit will be participating in the National Narcotics Detection Trials held by the USPCA in Hammond, Louisiana next week. Deputies and their canines will be competing in several law enforcement related functions specifically related to narcotics detection. This competition will include vehicle and building searches. Deputy Hargett and canine Gunner placed third in the regional USPCA competition held last October in Cookeville, Tennessee. By the ranking in the regional trials, it qualified Deputy Hargett and canine Gunner for the competition on the national level.
