FUGITIVE ARREST FRIDAY IN CAVE CITY PDF Print

At approximately 11:45 am on Friday, June7th, Captain Danny Coomer received information concerning a possible fugitive. Captain Coomer responded to 213 Schoolhouse Lane in Cave City, and located 21-year-old Michael R. Meredith of Louisville in the apartment. Mr. Meredith was wanted on warrants for being a Parole Violator and for Contempt of Court from Edmonson County.

 

While executing warrants, Captain Coomer, along with Barren County Deputy Sheriff Robert Smith, located an active methamphetamine lab and drug paraphernalia. Other deputies from the Barren County Sheriff’s Department and the Barren/Edmonson Drug Task Force responded to the scene.

 

 

Michael R. Meredith was subsequently arrested on charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st offense and possession of Drug Paraphernalia as well as the two warrants. He was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
