ONE HURT IN TWO VEHICLE CRASH IN PARK CITY NEAR INTERSTATE PDF Print

The Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 2 vehicle injury accident Tuesday morning on the Mammoth Cave Parkway in Park City.  Charles Clines ,67, of Cave City was traveling west on the Mammoth Cave Parkway in his 1988 Mazda pickup when a 2009 Freightliner driven by Donnie L Smith of Glasgow pulled out of the Shell Parking lot in front of Clines vehicle. The vehicles collided and came to a stop in the roadway. Mr. Clines was transported to TJ Samson Hospital by Barren Metcalfe EMS for treatment of nonlife threatening injuries. Deputy Dave Houchens investigated the accident and was assisted by Deputy Kevin Wilson, the Park City Fire Department and Emergency Management.
