BOTH DRIVERS CHARGED WITH DUI AFTER TWO CAR WRECK YESTERDAY IN RUSSELL COUNTY PDF Print

Kentucky State police responded four miles west of Jamestown to a collision. 24 year old Tiffany Cox of Richmond, Virginia was traveling west on KY 92 in a 2002 Chevy when she crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound Chevy Pickup driven by 36 year old Daniel Johnson of Jamestown, Kentucky. Both vehicles came to a final stop off the roadways.

 

Cox and her passenger Kayla Whitaker were taken to the Russell County Hospital for treatment of injuries and were released. Cox was charged with Driving under the influence, 1st offense.

 

Johnson left the scene of the collision to call authorities. He was also charged with Driving under the Influence and Leaving the scene of an accident.

 

Trooper Adam Likins was assited on scene by Russell County EMS, Sheriff’s Department, Jamestown Fire Department, Russell Springs Police Department and Russell County Rescue Squad
