HIGH SPEED CHASE LEADS TO ARREST OF GLASGOW MAN PDF Print

This past Saturday night at 8:30 PM Kentucky Sate Police Troopers observed a 2009 Nissan Maxima traveling at a high rate of speed in the Freedom Community of Barren County. Trooper Raymond Chambers attempted to stop the vehicle at which time the vehicle accelerated in an attempt to elude law enforcement. The vehicle then traveled into Monroe County at a high rate of speed, at which time the vehicle turned on numerous county roads. The operator of the vehicle, Steven Hood (43) of Glasgow was later arrested and charged with the following:

Speeding, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (Police Officer)(3 Counts), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (3 Counts), Reckless Driving, Operating on Suspended Drivers License, and Improper Passing.

Trooper Justin Rountree, Trooper Jeremy Smith and Deputy Chris Wyatt assisted on scene.
