GFD RESPONDS TO FIRE ON KELLY DRIVE IN GLASGOW PDF Print

The Glasgow fire Department responded to a report of smoke was coming from a house at 230 Kelly drive. On arrival firefighters found smoke coming from the roof. Entry to the house was made and the fire was determined to be in the attic. Access was made into the attic over the bathroom and the fire was extinguished. Firefighters removed some blown in insulation that was also fire. There was slight damage to some joists in the attic and several holes was cut in the ceiling for access to the fire area. There was some water damage in the bathroom and some water got into the basement. The state fire marshals office has been called in to determine a cause. There were no injuries reported, and firefighters were on the scene around 2 hours.
