As we all know, fireworks will fill the air on Thursday as we celebrate the 4th of July. What we may not know, is where our dogs have gone if they don’t come home that night. Every year, animal shelters around the world take in lost animals the morning of the 5th. Why is this? WCLU news spoke with Margie Patton from the BRAWA shelter, and asked if it was the fireworks themselves that have dogs running away from home..
