Tuesday afternoon at approximately 3:35pm, Deputy Kevin Wilson was on his way to a non-injury accident out the Burkesville Road. Deputy Wilson was traveling through a construction zone when he observed a 1994 Geo Tracker off the side of the roadway on its top.  As he pulled up, Deputy Wilson observed the driver crawling out of the vehicle, and observed a passenger trapped inside. The passenger, Jerry W. Childress 58 of Cave City, was later pulled from the vehicle and was taken to TJ Samson Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries by Barren Metcalfe EMS. The driver, Robert H. Buck 53 of Lexington, was arrested and charged with; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alc/drugs .08 aggravated offense. A witness later told Deputy Wilson that she had followed the vehicle for a short time and observed it swerving on the roadway, before if finally went off the road striking numerous
