Funeral services will be held Tuesday for a Glasgow man killed Friday. The Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the wreck Friday night on the Nobob Road.

Steven M. Shockley, 49, of Glasgow was traveling north when he lost control of his 1997 Ford F-150 before going off the left side of the roadway. It appeared that Shockley then over corrected and went back across to the right side of the roadway striking an earth embankment and overturning.

Shockley was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Barren County Coroner’s Office. Deputy Adam Bow investigated the accident and was assisted by deputies Dean Crumbaugh and Rusty Anderson. Temple Hill Fire Department and Barren Metcalfe EMS also assisted at the scene.

Funeral arrangements under the direction of the A. F. Crow and Son Funeral Home.
