GLASGOW CITY COUNCIL MEETS PDF Print
Tuesday, 09 July 2013 06:39

Two ordinances and a lengthy closed session; that sums up last night’s Glasgow City Council meeting.  The closed session was pursuant to Kentucky Revised Statutes involving Personnel Matters.  While no specific reason was given for going behind closed doors, one can only assume the personnel issue must have been related to the Glasgow Police Department, given that Police Chief Guy Turcotte went into the closed session behind closed doors with only the City Council members and Mayor Rhonda Trautman, and the fact that no other Department heads who were present at last night’s meeting were seen going into the private part of the meeting.

The City Council took no action, once the meeting was brought back into open session.
