The Barren County fair begins tomorrow afternoon. Here is Public Relations Chairman of the fair James Bailey with a rundown of this week’s events:

Participants can purchase food from any of the numerous vendors at the fair. Saturday’s highlights include a sheep, goat and hog show in the morning and a horse show in the afternoon.


The fair will include a carnival starting on Monday of next week. A $10 entry fee will be charged.


Bailey is a member of the Temple Hill Lions Club, an international nonprofit organization that has supported the Temple Hill fair for past 59 years. He says it’s the people that make the fair successr:

Next week’s events will include several truck and tractor pulls, a Ms. Barren county Fair pageant and a corn hole tournament.


The Barren County fair will be located at the Temple Hill Lions Club Park Fairgrounds in Glasgow, Kentucky.
