Phillip Junior Lashley, 81, of Brownsville died at 9:10 PM Aug. 1, 2013 at his home. The Edmonson County native was a truck driver, a farmer and a member of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Hubert Lashley and Myrtle Vincent Lashley.

Surviving are his wife, Maxine Basham Lashley; a daughter, Charlene Embry (Tom) of Brownsville; four sons, Phillip L. Lashley of Bowling Green and Trenton Eugene Lashley, Jeff Lashley and Jody Lashley (Elizabeth) all of Brownsville; a sister, Virgie Hinton of Bowling Green; eight grandchildren, Tommy Burnett, Carrie Johnson, Chrissy Purcell, Todd Lashley, Courtney Shelley, Josh Lashley, Emily Lashley and Jade Lashley; and two great grandchildren, Samantha Johnson and Jaxon Shelley.

Funeral will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial in Red Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1-9 PM Saturday and after 9 AM Sunday at the funeral home.
