William Jackson “Jack” Harrison, 82 of Bowling Green did Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. The Grayson County native was a Korean War Navy Veteran, a builder, high school teacher and retired superintendent of Mechanical Services at Western Kentucky University. He was a faithful member, trustee and usher of Cave Mill General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Joyce Woosley Harrison; two sons: Daniel and William “Tony” Harrison; two grandchildren: Petty Officer 3rd Class USN William Andrew Harrison and Nathan Jackson Harrison and special niece: Agnes Seaton.

Funeral services for William Jackson “Jack” Harrison will be at 4PM Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 2PM to 8PM Saturday, August 3, 2013 and after 12PM Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the funeral home.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.

 

Today is Gayle Berry Day!!!  Gayle is retiring July 31 from the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center.  A reception is being held today from 1-3.
