STOLEN FARM EQUIPMENT RECOVERED IN HISEVILLE PDF Print

Deputy Aaron Bennett was contacted by Scott Cook of Sexton Lane at approximately 7:00pm on Tuesday evening in reference to machinery sitting in the tree line at approximately the 2700 block of Sexton Lane in Hiseville, KY. Deputy Bennett went to Sexton Lane and located the farm equipment. The equipment was a horse drawn power unit also known as an “amish tractor”. Bennett contacted local agencies inquiring about the equipment, and discovered that it had been stolen out of the Cub Run community in Hart County. Deputies from both Hart and Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Department assisted Deputy Bennett in recovering the stolen equipment. The estimated value of the equipment was $15,000.00.
