KSP MAKE ARREST IN MONROE COUNTY MURDER PDF Print

ON THURSDAY AUGUST 23, 2013 AT APPROXIMATELY 0843 HOURS, POST 15 COLUMBIA RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE MONROE COUNTY SHERIFF IN REFERENCE TO A DECEASED MALE SUBJECT THAT HAD BEEN LOCATED ON GALILEE ROAD, 10 MILES WEST OF TOMPKINSVILLE.

UPON ARRIVAL UNITS DETERMINED THE VICTIM, TERRY ALEXANDER, AGE 33 OF BOWLING GREEN HAD BEEN SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES.  HE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE BY THE MONROE COUNTY CORONER.  FURTHER INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT DEMARCUS HAMILTON, AGE 32 OF TOMPKINSVILLE, HAD SHOT ALEXANDER.  HAMILTON WAS LOCATED AND ARRESTED IN COOKEVILLE TENNESSEE AND CHARGED WITH MURDER.

INVESTIGATION IS CONTINUING BY DET. BROOKS, U/733.   KENTUCKY STATE POLICE WAS ASSISTED AT THE SCENE BY MONROE COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT AND MONROE COUNTY CORONERS OFFICE.
