GLASGOW POLICE ARREST TWO IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS PDF Print

On Monday, the Glasgow Police Department responded to a disturbance on Frazier Avenue in Glasgow and ultimately arrested 35 year old Shaun Jones of Glasgow.  When officers approached the residence, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana.  Mr. Jones admitted to smoking ‘spice’ and gave consent to search.  Officers found an amount of suspected synthetic ‘spice’, and various items considered to be drug paraphernalia. Mr. Jones was lodged in the Barren County Correctional Center and was charged with Possession of Synthetic Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

 

 

GPD responded to a report of an out of control intoxicated male in the College Street and South Morgan area on Friday.  Upon arrival officers came in contact with 35 year old Robert C. Stinson of Happy Holly Road in Glasgow and Mr. Stinson was highly intoxicated.  Mr. Stinson was arrested and upon search officers found several hydrocodone tablets.  Mr. Jones was charged with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place, Possession of a Controlled substance 2nd Degree, Prescription of a Controlled Substance Not in Original Container and Drinking Alcohol in a Public Place and lodged in the Barren County Correctional Center.
