AREA TRACKSTERS COMPETE IN BG EVENT PDF Print

Area schools competed at the Purple Strider Invitational last Saturday in Bowling Green. In the Girls meet, Glasgow's Marrisa Moore finished in the top 10 securing seventh for the Lady Scotties. The meet was won by Madisyn Peebles of Bowling Green high. Edmonson County's Jessica Smith was eighth. Other notable finishes from area Schools include Allen County's Taylor Stamps placing twenty-eighth and Taylor Davis finishing Thirty eighth. Bowling Green Won the Women's meet almost completing a perfect score with Edmonson County finishing Fourth.

 

For the men's race, Barren County's Billy Mowery was able to finsih thirty-third for the Trojans. Frankie Estes helped the Patriots finishing thirty ninth in the race. Glasgow's Andrew Thomerson was sixty-sixth. In team scores, Allen County was able to finish eleventh while Glasgow placed twelfth. Barren County did not have enough runners to score as a team.

 

The next meet for Barren County will be this Tuesday at Barren County High school starting at 4:30
