On Tuesday morning at approximately 9:00 am, the Barren County Sheriff’s office responded to a burglary in progress at the Hidden Lake Apartments on Hidden Lake Road.  Upon arrival, Deputy Mike Houchens observed a rear window partially opened in the back of the apartment.  While knocking on the front door, Detective Rusty Anderson observed the subject moving around the apartment through the window trying to conceal himself from deputies.  The suspect was ordered to the door and after complying, was taken into custody.  The man was identified at 32 year old Timothy Ruddell of Cave City.  He told deputies that he broke into the apartment to go to sleep.  He was arrested and was charged with Burglary 2nd degree.  He was lodged in the Barren County Corrections Center.
