Area schools competed at the Gatorland Invitational over the weekend. In the Girl's meet, Marisa Moore was able to crack the top ten for Glasgow. Moore Finished sixth for the Lady Scotties one minute behind race winner Emily Peters of St. Cecilia Academy. Barren County's  Taylor Davis was able to place 56th in the race for the Trojanettes. Natasha Jessie finished 84 for Allen County.


In the boy's race, Billy Mowery was the lone Barren County runner in the race able to secure 53rd place out of a tough field of 215 competitors. Allen County's Frankie Estes was able to run close to the top 100. In team scores, Glasgow High school was able to earn 22 place while Allen County Scottsville was 27th.


The Next meet for Barren County will be this Thursday at home for the Area District meet.
