On Monday, 28 year old Tiffany Sampson of Greenbrier, TN turned herself into the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and on Wednesday, 39 year old Robert Dishman Jr. Bowling Green, KY turned himself at the Warren County Justice Center on Felony Charges of Manslaughter 2nd and Criminal Abuse 2nd Degree.

 

The charges stem from an investigation that began on August 24, 2012 after the death of a 19 month old child.

 

Both subjects were lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail

 

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Detective Brad Stevenson.

 

According to Maggie Roetker, Director of Public Relations for Kosair Chldren’s Hospital, Kentucky ranks 3rd in the nation for child abuse victims.  Kosair rarely sees a week go by that a child isn’t the Kosair Emergency Room for child abuse.  Dr. Steven Wright, Medical Director at Kosair Children's Hospital spoke with WCLU News and shared that it is normal for babies to cry and it is normal for parents to be frustrated.  Dr. Wright has some advice for dealing with these trying times:
