Wanda Jean “Deanie” Kirgan age 72 of Edmonton passed away Wednesday in North Vernon, Indiana.  She was born November 9, 1940 the daughter of the late Clyde and Goldie Cross.   She was a homemaker and member of the Valley Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by two granddaughters; Tabitha Emerick of Hope, Indiana and Christine Moore of Edmonton;   Two sisters, Lois Fields of Edmonton and Shirley Schaefer of Hope, Indiana;  Four great grandchildren, Kacey and Alexa of Hope, Indiana and Kyersten and Destiny of Edmonton;   Three nephews, Gary Gearlds and Petey Fields of Edmonton and Tim Cross of Hope, Indiana.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Maxie Kirgan; a son William "Billy" Geralds; a brother Leroy Cross and a nephew, David Cross.

Funeral services for Wanda Jean “Deanie” Kirgan will be held 1:00 PM Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens.   Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday and after 9:00 AM Sunday at the funeral home.
