BARREN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT RESPOND TO ACCIDENT ON FRIDAY PDF Print

On Friday, just before noon, the Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident with injury on Doyle Road in Park City. 33 year old Jacob Anderson of Glasgow was traveling north on Doyle Road in his 2002 Hyundai Sonata when he took his eyes off the roadway and veered into the other lane of the roadway in the travel path of a 1995 Ford Mustang operated by James Wood, age 52 of Clarkson KY. The vehicles hit head on and stopped in the roadway. A passenger in Anderson’s vehicle, Crystal Morgan, age 25 of Glasgow was injured in the accident, and was transported to TJ Samson Hospital by Barren Metcalfe EMS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Anderson and Wood were not injured in the accident. Deputy Ken Thomas investigated the accident and was assisted by Deputy Kevin Wilson and the Park City Fire Department.
