According To Crystal Wright with the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, on Saturday Warren County Deputies responded to an injury collision in the 2000 block of Browning Road.  Upon investigation, it was determined that 33 year old Anthony Fleming, of Auburn, was traveling northbound when he saw a mule standing in the roadway.  Fleming attempted to avoid the collision, but was unsuccessful.  After hitting the mule, his vehicle slid off the shoulder of the road and struck a tree.  Fleming refused medical treatment at the scene for himself and the juvenile passenger.  The mule succumbed to the injuries.  Both subjects were wearing their seatbelts and alcohol nor drugs are suspected to be a factor in this accident.
