William “Marvin” Sell, 97, Horse Cave, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at his home.  The Hart County native was the son of the late L. Mel and Nellie Hunt Sell.  He retired from Mammoth Cave National Park; he was a veteran of World War II and was a farmer.  He had been a member of Little Hope Baptist Church for 72 years.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Deckard Sell; a son, Jerry Sell and wife Barbara of Horse Cave; three grandchildren, Malcolm Sell of Louisville, Jason Sell and Marcus Sell, both of Lexington; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services with Malcolm Doyle officiating will be at 1 PM Wednesday, October 30th at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, with burial in the Cave City Cemetery.  Visitation at the funeral home will be after 11 AM Tuesday.
