The Barren County Chapter of the American Red Cross wants to encourage everyone to become a blood donor.  The Vice President and Director of Volunteer Services for the Barren County Chapter of the American Red Cross, Jan Stuart, told WCLU News that for every donation three lives are saved.  Here is more from Jan:

The American Red Cross is in critical need of all blood types. Jan says donations are accepted year round, but the winter months are especially important:

There will be a blood drive on Monday November 4th at the First United Methodist Church in Glasgow from 1:00-5:00pm. For more information contact Jan Stuart at (270)651-4192
