Pauline Childress Sanders 85 of Mammoth Cave died Wednesday,October 30, 2013 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky Center.  She was a seamstress and a homemaker and was a member of the Hill Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived  by two sons, Jerry (Judy) and Terry (Dianne) Sanders both of Cub Run; a daughter Sandra Pennycuff (James) of Bowling Green; five brothers, Leland Childress( Thelma Jean),  Floyd Childress( Christine), Kenneth Childress(Nina) and Elmo Childress(Vernice) all of Mammoth Cave and Owen Childress(Kathy) of Cave City; two sisters, Aliene James (Farrell) of Brownsville and Jill Schultz of Cave  City; nine grandchildren, Kelly Meredith, Keith Page, Darrell Sanders, Randall Sanders, Sandy Embry, Chris Sanders, Nicole Lindsey, Roseanne Johnson and Rebecca Basham and nineteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence Lee Childress and Melinda Pierce Childress; her husband, Carl Sanders; three brothers, Georgie Childress, Wade Childress and Howard Childress and two sisters, Valeria Jeffries and Rosie Harrison.

Funeral services for Pauline Childress Sanders will be held at 2pm Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Gravil Funeral Home, with burial in the Hill Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation  after 12noon Saturday at the Gravil Funeral Home.
