On November 3rd, 2013, at approximately 1:30am, a Warren County Deputy observed a pickup truck speeding on Scottsville Road.  The Deputy was able to confirm the vehicle was traveling 83mph in a 45mph zone.  The Deputy attempted a traffic stop, however, the vehicle failed to stop upon contact with law enforcement.  The vehicle entered a residential area traveling at high rates of speed before coming to a stop where the operator, identified as Gregory Calvin of Bowling Green, attempted to flee on foot.  Calvin complied with officers’ commands to stop and was placed under arrest without further incident.  Calvin was three times the legal limit while operating his vehicle.

Calvin was charged with the following: Speeding 26mph or more, Failure to Notify Address Change to Department of Transportation, DUI Second Offense (Aggravated Circumstance), Wanton Endangerment First Degree-Police Officer, and Fleeing and Evading-Police First Degree-Motor vehicle.
