INJURY COLLISION / DUI ARREST 1000 BLK GLEN LILY RD PDF Print

On November 3rd, 2013, at approximately 2:58am, Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies and Bowling Green Police Department responded to a possible injury collision in the 1000 block of Glen Lily Road.  The vehicle, a 2013 White Toyota passenger car was located at 1055 Glen Lily Road with substantial damage.  An open alcohol beverage was located inside the vehicle.  The operator was located walking on Veterans Memorial Boulevard and was identified as Jeffery D. Payne II.  It was determined that Payne was under the influence of alcohol, which lead to his single vehicle collision.  Payne was placed under arrest for the DUI and lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail on the following charges: Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Possession of an Open Alcohol Beverage in a Motor Vehicle, DUI Second Offense (Aggravated Circumstance), and Criminal Mischief Second Degree.  The investigation is still ongoing.
