On Friday, November 15, at approximately 4:35pm, GPD Officer Steven Shields responded to a possible domestic violence at the Adams Place apartments.  Upon arrival, several people flagged him into the area and began pointing behind the apartments.  Officer Shields rounded the corner and asked Antonio L. Nuckols what he was doing, at which time Nuckols attempted to reach into his pockets but was stalled by Officer Shields momentarily but turned away and dropped a baggy onto the ground that was later determined to be marijuana resulting in the arrest of Nuckols for Possession of Marijuana and Tampering with Physical Evidence.  Also, Nuckols’ pregnant girlfriend was found to have several marks on her face, resulting in the arrest of Nuckols for Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence) Minor Injury.  Nuckols was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
