On Saturday morning the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle injury collision in the 700 block of Hammett Hill Road.  The 16 year old female driver, of Bowling Green, was entrapped and had to be mechanically extricated from the vehicle.  Passengers of the vehicle at the time of the collision were a 16 year old male of Rockfield, a 16 year old female of Bowling Green and 18 year old Tyler Lightfoot of Bowling Green.

All occupants were transported to the Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  Through investigation it was determined that the vehicle went off the right shoulder of the road.  The driver overcorrected causing it to cross the roadway and go off the left side of the road.  The vehicle started rolling over due to the extreme angle of the side of the hill.  Neither alcohol or speed is expected to be a factor in this collision.  The 16 year old male passenger of Rockfield was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.  The Warren County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Hadley Volunteer Fire Department and Bowling Green Fire Department.  The investigation is ongoing.

Today is Hope Deckard day! She is celebrating her birthday today.
