KSP TROOPER CRUISER WAS STRUCK ON NATCHER PARKWAY PDF Print

On Tuesday morning, Kentucky State Police Sergeant Jermaine Savage responded to an injury collision at the I 65 entrance ramp to the William Natcher Parkway.

 

According to Sergeant Savage, 42 year old Kentucky State Police Captain Brian McKinney of Henderson, KY was providing traffic control on the ramp where a collision had occurred.  Captain McKinney was sitting in his cruiser with the emergency equipment activated when a 2005 Chrysler Sebring operated by 58 year old Carolyn S. McWhorter of Jamestown, KY struck the rear end of Captain McKinney’s cruiser.

 

Captain McKinney and Ms. McWhorter were taken to the Medical Center in Bowling Green with non-life threatening injuries.

 

The investigation is still ongoing and is being led by Sergeant Jermaine Savage.
