SECOND DEATH FROM ACCIDENT THAT CLAIMED THE LIFE OF A GLASGOW MAN PDF Print

A second person has died in a traffic accident that claimed the life of a Glasgow man Saturday afternoon. The collision that occurred at 2:45 PM  KY 88 in Green County.  54-year-old Johnnie M. McElroy of Glasgow, KY was traveling west on KY 88, operating a 2004 Chevy Pickup.  67-year-old Benny Scott of Hardyville KY,  was traveling east on KY 88, operating a 2008 Ford

Pickup when the vehicle dropped off the shoulder of the roadway.  Scott

over corrected and the Ford crossed the roadway, striking McElroy's vehicle.  McElroy

was pronounced dead at the scene by the Green County Corner.  Scott was airlifted to

University of Louisville Hospital where he died at 12:40 Sunday afternoon from  injuries sustained. KSP Trooper Logan Richardson is investigating the accident.  Funeral Arrangements for Johnnie M McElroy are under the direction of the A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home.
