November 3, 1983 – Greg Davis is the new manager at the Cave City Convention Center.

November 6, 1983 – A Korean Scrapbook features the 1951 officers of the local National Guard – James Trigg Pace, Bobby Richardson, Fred Ganter, Loren Williams, Chas. A Bradshaw, Rondel Oliver, Lewis Rayburn, Ephraim Berry, Robert Lessenberry, James Crow, Jessie Wilkerson, Howard M Jones and Aubrey Crow.

November 7, 1983 – Julie Morrison, BCHS graduate is a nominee for 1983 Homecoming Queen at Lindsey Wilson College.

November 8, 1983 – Martha Layne Collins is elected the first woman Governor of Kentucky. Jim Marion and Sam Lawson unseated Carlos Wilson and Pat Vann in the City Council race.

November 11, 1983 – Dr. Warren Eisenstein opens his new practice in Glasgow in the Dept. of Pathology and laboratory medicine at T J Samson.

November 11, 1983 - Korean Veterans honored at Veteran dinner at the National Guard Armory included Soup Oliver, Keith Norman, Leroy Williams, Eugene Houchens, Clifton Compton, Neal Jewell, Major Hartz, Jerry Threikel, Ralph Palmore, Bob Watson, Eulan Chism, Harold Strange, Jimmy Smith, Tom Holmes, Hugh O Pickett, Lyon Wiley, Woodrow Jewell and Victor Wimpee.

November 17, 1983 – Dr.  Reddy will join the staff at Howard Clinic next week.

November 19, 1983 – Wednesday night on TV – NNBC – Professor Hope’s Thanksgiving, Campus Comedy Capers, and St. Elsewhere. CBS – Whiz Kids, Movie “Tarzan, Ape Man”, ABC – Fall Guy, Dynasty and Hotel.

November 20, 1983 – NFB sponsored a chili supper for tobacco growers in the area at BCHD. S James Aldridge talked with Edward, Dennis and Eddie Ross.

November 22, 1983 – Burley averages $177.50 here in Glasgow.

First nighttime Christmas parade in Glasgow is scheduled for December 16.

November 23, 1983 – 7 Returning lettermen will be the mainspring of BCHS boys’ basketball team – Chris Poynter, Duane Withrow, Greg Nuckols, Darrell Foster, Keith Rigdon, Chipper Parker and Bryan Crabtree, Coach is Carroll Yager.

November 25, 1983 – Well known auto dealer, Gillie Taswell Hyde , 65, died Wednesday at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.

November 29, 1983 – Ron Hampton and Rita Riherd were sworn in to the Kentucky Bar on November 18th by Justice William Gant. They went thru elementary at Happy Valley and graduated from GHS together.

November 30, 1983 – Paul Holman – Faux Pas – Glasgow Country Club is shown in a picture in the early thirties. It burned and was replaced by a frame building which later burned.
