Lindel Calvin Embry, 70, of Roundhill passed away Saturday morning at his home. The Oakland, IL native was a retired truck driver and a member of the Community House of Prayer. He was a son of the late Lindel Clyde Embry and Margie Irene Johnson Embry.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Shields Embry; three sons, David Haynes and wife Geraldine of Roundhill, Johnny Embry and wife Tina of McDaniels and Lonnie Embry and wife Wilma of Scottsville; five daughters, Lisa Rone and jeanetta Crandell and husband Leroy both from Roundhill, Amy L. Phelps and husband Tim and Genevieve McKinney and husband Randall both of Morgantown and Sandra D. Lindsey and husband Rodney of Sunfish; three brothers, Wendel Embry and wife Ann of Beaver Dam and Loyd Embry and wife Frances and Floyd Embry and wife Wilma both of Bowling green; two sisters, Juanita Lindsey and Lolita Burnett and husband Joe both of Bowling Green. 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Tuesday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to in the Slate Bank Cemetery. Visitation will be Noon-9PM Monday and after 9:00AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
