SUNDAY AFTERNOON STABBING IN WARREN COUNTY PDF Print
Tuesday, 21 January 2014 08:51

Sunday afternoon a woman wielding a knife leaves two Warren County residents wounded.  Warren County Deputies responded to Mt. Olivet Road on Sunday afternoon, to find James Lindsey with a stab wound to his side.  Lindsey had been wounded in an attempt to protect Loretta Chapman, who was the second stab victim.  The investigation yielded that Sarah Stevens had come to the residence, where four small children were home, pulled out a knife and began swinging it wildly.  Stevens had already fled the scene when officers arrived, but was later located and arrested.  Stevens has been charged with ASSAULT 2ND DEGREE and five separate counts of WANTON ENDANGERMENT 1ST DEGREE.  She was taken and lodged in the Warren County Jail.
