Slippery roadways lead to injury collision.  Saturday afternoon just before 5:00pm, The Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle injury accident on Tompkinsville Road.  40 year old Jeffrey L. Williams, of Glasgow was traveling northbound when he lost control of his 1995 Jeep Wrangler, traveled off the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a fence.  A passenger in the vehicle, 4 year old Julia P. Williams, was ejected out of the vehicle, and onto the right shoulder of the roadway. She was transported to TJ Samson Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident. She was later transported by ambulance to Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville for further treatment. Deputy Dean Crumbaugh investigated the accident.
