Tuesday afternoon the Glasgow Police Department responded to an injury collision on Scottsville Road. Upon investigation, GPD Officers found that 31 year old Melissa Jones, of Center, was stopped on Scottsville Road, in her 2012 GMC Terrain, awaiting traffic. Jones noticed a truck approaching from behind and felt sure there would be a collision. The truck abruptly swerved, narrowly missing Jones vehicle. Driving behind the truck, in a1991 Geo Prisim, was 20 year old James Walters of Horse Cave. Walters said he saw the truck in front of him swerve, but did not have time to stop completely before colliding with Jones.

Neither Jones or Walters were injured, but a passenger in Walters vehicle, 19 year old Robert Corey of Horse Cave was transported by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS for treatment of possible injuries.
