Ralph Shirley Bell, 74, of Mt. Vernon, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington. He was a Edmonton, Kentucky native born October 2, 1939, son of the late German and Irene Shirley Bell, U.S. Army Vietnam Era Veteran, retired master electrician and contractor, member of the Baptist Faith and resident of Rockcastle County for the past 26 years.

Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Regina Ponder Bell; 5 children, Steven (Susan) Bell, Mark Bell, Brandon Bell, Josh Bell, Jenna (Tyler) Ingram; 1 brother, Jimmy (Janet) Bell; 7 grandchildren, Erica, Charlie, John, Braxton, Cayson, Avery, Emmalyn.

Funeral Service 12:00 Noon, Friday, January 31, 2014 at Reppert Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Adams officiating. Visitation 6:00 - 9:00 PM Thursday. Graveside Committal Service 5:00 PM Friday (4:00 PM Central Time) at Union Chapel Cemetery in Edmonton. Family suggests contributions to the funeral home to help with the funeral cost.
