Wednesday morning, just before 8:00am, the Glasgow Fire department responded to Federal Mogul, on Aberdeen Drive,in Glasgow.  A caller from the plant reported some parts inside an oven had caught on fire and were going to be removed to the outside, at the rear of the building.  Upon arrival, firefighters found the plant had been evacuated to the parking lot and were informed by employees that the parts were still inside the oven and on fire.  Firefighters entered the building and deployed a 1 ¾ preconnect to the oven to prevent the fire from spreading.  The GFD removed the parts and the damage was contained to one pallet, which was taken to the rear of the building for extinguishment.  While talking with plant personnel, Firefighters learned there was another possible fire in another oven inside the building.  Firefighters removed these parts, as well, and they were taken outside and extinguished.  Plant personnel had no cause as to why the parts ignited and had no damage estimate available.  No injuries were reported and Firefighters were on the scene around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
