Monday afternoon, just before 2:00pm, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch assisted the
FBI and the Attorney General's Office in the execution of a search warrant related to child sexual
exploitation in Nicholasville, Ky.
As a result of the search, KSP charged Jeffery Treadway, 35, with 20 counts of POSSESSION OF MATTER
PORTRAYING A SEX PERFORMANCE BY A MINOR.

The arrest was the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation that began
in Colorado. An FBI agent in Colorado had taken over an account belonging to another individual who
was arrested on charges related to child sexual exploitation. The agent utilized the account to make
contact with others who were possibly interested in the sexual exploitation of children. The agent's
investigation led back to Treadway's residence on Orchard Drive in Nicholasville.
The investigation resulted in the execution of the search warrant at Treadway's residence, where
electronic equipment was seized and is pending a full forensic examination. The investigation is
ongoing and additional charges are expected.
