A local citizen received an honor from Glasgow Police Chief, Guy Turcotte, at last night’s Glasgow City Council Meeting.  Mrs. Suzanne Branstetter acted bravely and efficiently when Police Officer Just Kirkpatrick was in a vehicle accident, which resulted in him being transported to TJ Samson Hospital.  Kirkpatrick publicly thanked Mrs. Branstetter…

Chief Turcotte presented her with a plaque as a token of the department’s appreciation.

Also, during last night’s meeting, the All A State Champion GHS Lady Scottie Basketball team was honored by City Government.  Mayor Rhonda Trautman presented the award.

The annual audit was presented and accepted as well last night, with an overall clean rating by the firm of Taylor, Polson, and Company CPA’s.  Mayor Trautman explains what this audit means to the city of Glasgow…
