Sergeant Jarrod Steele of the Glasgow Police Department observed and apprehended a Gray 1999 Ford Ranger driven by 31 year old Daniel D. Norris of Burkesville traveling east on Happy Valley Road driving over the fog line and then eventually leaving the roadway.  Officer Steele detected a strong odor of alcohol and searched the vehicle and conducted a sobriety test on Norris in which he showed the presence of alcohol.  The search yielded findings of unspecified prescription drugs.  Norris refused alcohol and breath tests.  He was charged with two counts of Illegally possessing Prescription Blanks 1st Offense; Failure to Notify Address Change; and, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence.  He was arrested and lodged in The Barren County Detention Center.
