BARREN COUNTY GRAND JURY INDICTMENTS PDF Print

A recent session of the Barren County Grand Jury has returned the following indictments:

 

Included on a single indictment were 33 year old Thomas Leighton Upton, Jr., 31 year old Greta Denise Upton and 35 year old Gabriel L. Rosales, all of Bowling Green.  All three have been charged with:  RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY $500 OR MORE BUT LESS THAN $10,000 and HINDERING PROSECUTION OR APPREHENSION 2ND DEGREE.  Thomas Upton, Jr. faces additional charges of POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUTSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 2ND OFFENSE, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA and PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER 1ST DEGREE.  Greta Upton faces an additional count of PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER 1ST DEGREE.  Upton Jr’s bond was set at $10,000 cash.  No bond amount was listed for Greta Upton or Gabriel Rosales.

 

Due to testimony in regard to events in mid October of last year, 20 year old Rique R. Griffin of Bowling Green was indicted on three counts:  two separate counts of THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER $10,000 and THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION PLATE/DECAL.  No bail amount was listed on the indictment.

 

19 year old Brett M. Stevens of Glasgow was indicted on one count of ASSAULT 3RD DEGREE, POLICE OFFICER.  Bail amount was listed at $5,000 or approved surety.

 

Jeremy L. Bybee was indicted on three counts.  RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY $500 OR MORE BUT LESS THAN $10,000, PUBLIC INTOXICATION and PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER 1ST DEGREE.  No bail amount was listed on the bond.

 

An indictment is an accusation only and all individuals should be considered as innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
